As we move forward I will be writing short commentaries / blogs about the abundance of applications that are available to assist the micro business owner grow. When a new solopreneur begins there are many aspects of business that can cause one to become frozen in place trying to decide how to move forward, picking from the thousands of software applications is just one of those. Through my years of assisting small and medium businesses with growth planning and execution, I’ve come across hundreds if not thousands of those small “helpful” applications. It’s time to share a bit of experience with those individuals trying to survive in this new economy.
In the coming articles I’ll be talking about a few quick wins using apps like Evernote, MailChimp, ZohoCRM, Nimble, Fax2mail, Dropbox and number of others. These apps normally begin with a no cost or very low cost version which includes most features, or at least those you need to really get the value proposition.
I’ll be providing reviews in a way intended to assist you with evaluating while successfully using those that apply to your business. I’ve spent many years in this industry and just find these newer smaller more “Nimble” applications fascinating and very valuable to those in the beginning of building their business.
